Process and Timeline
Provide information to and solicit feedback; host events to engage stakeholders; capture ideas and encourage cross-college conversations.
Encourage teams to form around thematic areas; provide a clear and transparentprocess for proposal submission and selection. Faculty-led teams submit proposalsdescribing their Big Ideas. Proposals due on March 6, 2020. Teams will be selected andnotified by April 15, 2020.
Successful teams will receive support to develop a poster for a community showcase andtime with Instructional Technology Services to create a 3-5 minute promotional video.
Teams create a 3-minute video explaining their Big Idea. A virtual video showcase will be held in the spring.
Short Films for Big Ideas. A virtual video showcase will be held in the spring for an audience that includes SDSU faculty, staff, students as well as the greater community – San Diego and beyond.
Teams submit proposals for final selection. 3-5 teams will be chosen based on the posted criteria including alignment with the University-wide Strategic Plan. The remaining teams will continue to be cultivated to pursue support for their work.
